THE PRODUCTION:

  • Keir Pearson, screenwriter and Co-Executive Producer of Hotel Rwanda serves as script consultant for the film. Hotel Rwanda was nominated for three Academy Awards including best original screenplay.
  • Strauss Zelnick, founder of Zelnick Media, has agreed to consult on the development, production and distribution of the film. Mr. Zelnick has served as President of such media companies as BMG Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, Sony Tri-Star and Columbia Television. Zelnick Media owns interests in wide array of media enterprises.
  • Rick Santos, co-writer and producer, has over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry in sales, marketing, production and programming in the following areas: Radio (Disney/ABC Radio Networks - nationally syndicated programs) Television (Feld Entertainment - commercials, public relations news events, special broadcasts) Live Entertainment (Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney On Ice) New Media (ESPN, abcradio.com, acctop40.com, ChainGangPictures.com, filmlinker.com) and Film (ChainGangPictures). As the producer, Rick will coordinate and manage the creative, logistic and budgetary aspects of the film from pre-production to distribution. Using his extensive entertainment project management experience, he will enable the director to execute his creative vision, keep the production in budget, and oversee the project’s artistic integrity.
  • Gregory Soueid, co-producer, business manager, has over 15 years experience in the investment banking and management consulting industries based in the US, Asia and Europe. His experience spans business and strategic planning, financial management and operational & process improvement for leading global financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and Price Waterhouse. Greg has developed strong business management skills with specific emphasis on business plan & case formation. A student of international business and management at New York University’s Stern School of Business, Greg has served as Director at Citigroup Global Wealth Management (New York & Zurich), Executive Director at Goldman Sachs International (London) and Principal Consultant at Price Waterhouse, Management Consulting (New York & Tokyo). Greg will serve as business and financial manager overseeing the business plan, budget, financing and legal activities of the production company.

  • Susan Carnival, writer and producer of Chutney Popcorn, has agreed to consult on all aspects of production and post-production. Susan's film starring Jill Hennessy won several festival awards and enjoyed wide international theatrical and broadcast distribution.
  • Carole Lee Dean, Executive Director of From the Heart Productions, has agreed to advise and aid us in our production. Carole's organization has granted us two awards (Roy W. Dean Film Grant in 1996 and the Robert Townsend Tenacity Award in 1999) for our previous film American Chain Gang.
  • Captain John Cosgrove, Chief of Homicide and Robbery in Kansas City, Kansas agreed to consult on details concerning police work in our story. Capt. Cosgrove is also one of the featured detectives on A&E's reality series, The First 48.
  • We own a full camera, audio and lighting package; nearly all of the equipment required to shoot this feature length film. This significantly reduces production costs.
  • Three major locations have been secured and offered, free eliminating below the line location costs.
